Why Our Church
We are a church that believes in Jesus Christ and loves God.
Philadelphia Pentecostal Church has been a visual, God fearing, and loving church in the Northwest suburb of Chicago. We named our church “Philadelphia” back in 1996 based on a passage of scripture from Revelation Chapter 3. The Greek term “Philadelphia” means “Brotherly Love” and we embody that. Revelation 3:7-8 reads “What he opens no one can shut. I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no-one can shut. I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name.”
We are a non-denominational, South Indian, Malayalee Church in Chicago, Illinois. Services are conducted in English and Malayalam. We preach sound doctrine and worship the Lord in spirit and in truth. We are a family church, rooted in Christ’s love, equipping His people for the last days. Next time you’re in the Chicagoland area, do come and visit us. God bless you.
